Film-Sex, 1977 - Spain (Mas Alla Del Deseo)

Issue #13 covers an erotic film called "Mas alla del deseo" starring Spanish film star Maria Luisa San Jose and the more obscure but equally as beautiful, Patricia Granada. Maria Luisa San Jose is gorgeous here and has some very sexy scenes in the film. She began her career in the late 60s and took several roles in the mid 70s which showed off every angle of her anatomy. Great stuff. The film itself isn't bad either. It's well produced and very colorful with a strong retro-esque 70's feel. Patricia Granada's career never quite took off for whatever reason but she is also beautiful to look at. Unfortunately the images from "Has que Matrimonio" are weak in quality and have limited sexy shots.

Film-Sex, 1977 - Spain (La Lozana Andaluza)

Nuevo FILM-SEX began publication in 1976 after the death of Spanish dictator, Franco. This is also when Spanish film began sexing up the screen. FILM-SEX is probably the best series of film photo novels found anywhere because all the stills used in the magazine are directly from the films and are all in full color. Where as many of the French and Italian magazines showed mainly black and white images. In addition, you often find sexy, nude images here that never made it into the final cut of the film for whatever reason. Copies of FILM-SEX are very rare. I believe they published at least 32 issues. This particular issue covers the 1977 film "La Lozana Andaluza" a spanish decamorotic starring then newcomer Italian actress Maria Rosario Omaggio.

Blanca Estrada - Spanish Doll

Blanca Estrada never became a mega-cult star the likes of Rosalba Neri or Nadiuska. She is however known in cult movie circles as a classic 70's hottie. Blanca is one of my favorite 70s actresses from this era of Spanish cinema and she did appear in some interesting films. She began her career in Spain during the 1960s as a dancer and performer in a live circus show. Her beauty caught the eyes of movie talent recruits and it would be Spanish Horror film legend Paul Naschy who would cast her in her best roles. Cult movie lovers may have seen her in small roles such as Peter Collinson's Open Season (74) and in a couple of Amando De Ossorio's Blind Dead films. Between 1970 and 1980 Blanca would appear in about 25 films about half of which were erotic, sexy roles where she would appear nude. She retired from movies in 1982.

Sylva Koscina: Movie Babe Naturale

Sylva Koscina was born in Yugoslavia in 1933. She was originally a Physics student in Italy before turning to modeling and acting. She became a big star in the early sixties and appeared in many leading roles with some of Italy's biggest stars of the time. In 1968 she co-starred with Paul Newman in The Secret War of Harry Frigg which was only a moderate success. The early seventies proved a bit less kind to Sylva as her star power began to fizzle a bit. She remained in the Italian film industry where she began taking many roles in erotic, sexy films which were becoming very popular in Italy and throughout Europe.
